Fessing Up!

Ok, I have to fess up....I did not get around to making an awesome supper like I had planned. It was just Courtney and I home, Jeremy had play practice and Chad was at a Township Board Meeting so I made absolutely nothing....leftovers it was! Courtney and I went to town to tan and work out and ran into my friend Laurie and also my nephew, 2 awesome nieces and very cool sister-in-law.....so I ended up chatting a bit longer than I should have and served leftover spaghetti to Jeremy and Courtney and I ate an apple. My intentions were to grill steaks......maybe today, although it is raining out now and I hate to grill in the rain.

Good for you for fessing up. They say that kind of thing is good for the soul. Me, I rarely ever cook. I turned in my chef's hat a long time ago.

Sounds like you had a nice visit though. That's a good thing too.

I would say that after the crazy day you had you earned a day of doing nothing. I know when I take a day of doing nothing I feel a little guilty but then I say "Self you need it"
Then I stop feeling guilty.

Have a nice day.

I feel like making the family eat apples alot of times. I get tired of making breakfast, lunch AND supper all the time. And this girl is NOT A COOK.

Grilled steaks...yummy!

Just stopping by to say hello.
Long time no talk or blog or anything.
I'm catching up on your blog.
When you get a chance stop over to my blog I am working on a post right now.
We have leftovers quite often. Seems like lately I am making double portions of things...so that we do have leftovers.
Tonight we made 2) homemade pizzas for supper. Now we will have leftover pizza for lunch tomorrow. MMNN!

You know what my favorite meal is when I decide not to cook and have fed my family left overs? I sneak off to town to do some 'errands' and grab an order of Pizza Hut breadsticks. Do you still love them too?

So why are you working out in town when you have a perfectly good treadmill sitting at home?

You needed to tan and work out! after all, remember, they are a priority!!

When my wife and I went down south on vacation she took her tankini, but actually we ended up using the indoor pool rather than the beach...

Yeah I dont think I would care for grilling in the rain and with all you do I think you can forgive yourself for serving leftovers occasionally :-) Gotta be lazy once in awhile! By the way, I have deleted the Atta Girls Journal and made one called "The Other Side of 40". You will find it in my blogger profile. Just thought I would mention it if you go looking for me. LOL

ok, so how big are the 200 baby pigs? how long ago were they weaned - and how long will you keep them before shipping them? what do you feed them?
