School Play

Our high school is putting on their annual play this weekend. This year the play is "Trouble in Tumbleweed" by Tim Kelly. We went last night and are going again tonight (both kids are in the play, Courtney is doing hair and make-up and has a non-speaking part and Jeremy has many lines). I was not in the play when I was in high school, did not even try out but wish I would have. They are having a lot of fun hanging out with their friends and have put a lot of time into it which you can tell because it was really good. It's fun to see the talent that our local youth have in drama!

I love school plays! How fun that both kids are in this one. I did behind the scenes work when I was in hs, but had to be there for all the practices and it was a blast!
Unfortunately our daughter had to choose between track and play, most years she picked track.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

It really is nice that they both share in this activity. Years ago I use to love to go to Little Theater productions. They don't seem to be as popular any more.

Oh, I'm all over the drama scene--on stage that is. I loved it in middle and high school. My oldest daughter of 13 years is very interested and looking to become more involved in theater. I wonder where God will lead her life--as well as the rest of my brood. your son has a sweet car! :-D

I'm enjoying your blog. Thanks for stopping over at mine. I tend to be a little "zany" sometimes (fair warning, right?).

Bryon said it was great! Booker did too. Wish I could have been there. One of these days, I'll stay home on the weekends. Tell the kids good luck today at the banana relays...I think they are today, aren't they? Wish I could come...
