Jeremy's newest additions to his Collection

Jeremy and his friends like to dress up in strange outfits for certain occasions.....such as Regions, Districts and State for the Girls Volleyball and Basketball teams. It's the way they show their school spirit and support for the teams. The girls also do this for the boys but are never quite as creative as the boys. Part of this ritual includes wearing "different" hats (for the state basketball tourney, Jeremy wore a pink cowboy hat). Anyway....Jeremy talked me into stopping at the Salvation Army store yesterday while we were in town and here are his newest purchases to add to his "hat collection". You can tell how proud he is of his new hats because he posed for pictures with them....he hates to have his picture taken.

This one is kinda cute on him!

Some of these are really, really UGLY!

GREAT hats!! You can tell he really likes them :)!LOL!!

I know that when my brother and his buddies were in high school they use to go to the second hand store in town and buy old men suits (you know..the polyester style leisure suits). They would wear those out on the town or to basketball games. I remember quite a few "strange" outfits (too bad I never had a camera handy).

Have a GREAT weekend!!

Susan--he bought 7 hats for a grand total of $6.00.

Jeff and Erin--they have done the leisure suit too, last year at the state tourney.

Tracy--the last one is a SPEEDO, must be a bikers hat not a swimmers because it has a bill on it??

What a hoot!!! Those pictures are priceless! What a bargain too, you can't buy anything for $6.00 these days. Cute pictures on your previous post with your friends and the pig! heehee! Do you ever keep any for pets? I'm enjoying your site, I try to stop in every couple of days. Come by and see my new 'LOOK'! :0)

He has something in common with my son! Hats are a fettish with my kid! I love the things teen boys can come up with to do. Their minds are in a world of their own it seems. Thanks for sharing. I should see if my son would cooperate and pose with all his hats!
