It has been really
quiet around here this week. Jeremy left for Boys State in Aberdeen on Monday and doesn't come home until Saturday. He and his sister
bicker quite a bit so it's been a little
quiet around here since he left. I have to admit, I
miss him and the
bickering, it just doesn't seem
normal around here without it (check back in with me next week, I will probably be
complaining about the
bickering). I guess I had better get used to it because in little over a year, he will be gone to college. I
shudder at the thought of that but had better start getting accustom to the idea!

Kind of funny how you miss the things that bug you when they happen.
It's amazing how quiet it is when they're gone. It makes me sad to think about my kids going to college - I know I complain about them all the time, but I will miss them (and worry about them) when they're away.
Never known sibblings that did bicker :o)

My grand kids are 4 and 5 and they already bicker! I told my son and DIL to get used to it as it is totally normal and it's not going away any time soon! lol!
Congratulations to Jeremy on the honor of being chosen for boys state! I know what you mean on the bickering, you'd think by the time they are college-age they would stop, but noooo. My oldest just finished her first year of college, and it was definately a hole in the family when she was gone, I am so glad she is home for the summer. It helps if they are close enough to come home once in a while, don't know how I would have handled it if she had gone thousands of miles away.
So, ENJOY the bickering!
Kennedy's been gone to basketball camp this week too and we are experiencing the same abnormal quiet. It may all be worth it though, because Booker (who clashes with Kennedy hourly) started crying last night and said, "I just want her to come home and love me!"
I love the quiet.
But I also miss it when one of the kids isn't around.
Cooper leaves this weekend with Grandpa and Grandma to go camping and it will be weird not having my little chatter box around. This will give me a nice break to spend time with just Brooklyn for once! Enjoy the peace and quiet for awhile!
Whenever my kids are at grandma's house...I miss them...when they are home...it's one thing after another. Every time...doesn't matter how long they've been gone.
