Quiet...Part 2

Ok, now Courtney is gone this whole week...to the Hansen-Anderson basketball Camp of Stars. I thought it was quiet the week Jeremy was gone but it's even MORE QUIET this week. Jeremy is my calm, easy-going child who only talks when he has something important to say, so it has been REALLY QUIET around here. It does give me one on one time with the kids when the other one is gone for that length of time and I have really enjoyed that! I guess that is something I should make an effort to do more often...spend individual time with them.

We missed Courtney at softball tonight. By the way, no practices this week - tell her just to show up for the game next Tuesday. I hope the camp is going well for them all. Quite the honor for being selected to attend!!! I find that with my kids when one is gone they really like to help me out more and it seems like they act a little older too. Weird but true!!

It must be an honor to be selected to attend this camp. That is great. Enjoy the "quiet" time.

I hope she has a great time at basketball camp! How fun!!

Enjoy your quiet time! I bet it is hard when you are so used to having both kids around. :)

Yes, I still remember the times I was able to spend time with just my mom, without my brothers taking any of her attention. I try to do that with my kids, too. I know they all appreciate it, too. =) Enjoy your nice quiet week!!

Its wonderful to have that one on one time. We got to do that a couple of weekends ago with Brooklyn and enjoyed it! Its funny how much you miss them when they are gone but they can drive you bananas some days when they are here!

How great that she gets to go to that camp! It really is nice to get to spend time alone with each child. I find that the older mine get the less time that happens. Maybe as my younger one gets to doing more things it will happen more. It just occurred to me that I need to make it happen with my older two, since I could leave one babysitting when I do something with the other. duh!

What a great reminder to make good use of the one on one time. What a sweet thought. Thanks for sharing.

I know the children also appreciate the one-on-one time! Basketball--Now that brings back memories--my two sent every year to some bball camp. It was almost as much a part of the year as going to school. Fun times!

Enjoy your quiet time...sit back, relax, have a drink, take a bath. They'll be back soon and then you'll wonder why you were so lonely.

I hope you enjoy your quiet time.
I agree sit back relax, read a book, sit in the hot tub, take a nap. AHH!
Those are things I need right now too.
I'm kinda tired from our vacation.
It seems we didn't get much sleep.
It was fun though.
