My sisters and my good friend Laurie and I are having a rummage sale today. No time to work on the barn today and I did very little yesterday. Hubby and Son worked on it some. Courtney had a basketball team camp so I was there most of the day watching her and then on to set up for the Rummage. I also had time to attend a jewelry party at my good friend Jackie's last night...showed up late but hey, at least I was there!
I love to go to rummages but haven't had time this summer....any of you like to hit a sale and find a bargain?

I like to go to sales, but not to have them! However, I do have a garage full of stuff I need to do something with. So there may be a sale in my future this fall. Too hot right now!

I love to go to sales and look for some hidden treasures! I don't like to have them though, too much work! My DIL has one every summer so I get rid of my stuff that way. I just load everything up and give it to her and she can keep the cash! It's worth it to me to get the stuff out of the house. I just cleaned out my closet and got rid of three trash bags full of clothes. My sister was very happy to be the recipient of them! :0)
I am in a phase where I don't want to bring anything else into the house unless I really need it. So I skip the garage sales, cause I always seem to find something too cheap to pass up. I would love to have a sale and get rid of toys! but haven't yet convinced my girls to part with anything.

I love Pyrex dishes and shop exclusively for this whenever I yard sale(rarely:(
I LOVE rummage sales but haven't made it to any this summer. I had one with my friend back at the beginning of May which was kinda fun. Got rid of some "junk" and made a little money. I hope yours went well!

I have found a new love for them. I am tired of spending so much on the kids summer clothes to turn around and get .25 for the WHOLE OUTFIT that cost me $40 to begin with!!! I also love Once Upon a Child in Sioux Falls. THey are very picky on what clothes they take in and they can't be faded, stained, or out of style at all! I wish I would have been smarter earlier when Brooklyn was a baby and found good deals! Hope you had a good turnout!
I don't have enough patience to attend rummage sales and having them are a pain in the rump but I do one every summer because the money I make it is worth it in the end.

I haven't been to a rummage sale in ages. I am going to need to hold one, however. We've got too many toys in this house.
