Courtney and 3 of her friends participated in the Mike Miller/Sanford Childrens Streetball Challenge held in Sioux Falls over the weekend. They didn't play the greatest but they had a great time.

Football and volleyball practices started today so we stayed in SF on Sat. night and had a little "family time" since the kids' summer is pretty much over.

How fun! I don't want to wish the years by, however I am super excited to go and watch my kids play sports when they get older!

Man, looking back over some of your posts, y'all have had one busy summer! Even building the barn! It looks like this was a fun game, even if it wasn't the best played one. Fun is what counts. Thanks for coming by and for your sweet words. I missed visiting everyone, and I'm sure I've missed out on a ton. But, I did see that Jeremy had his wisdom teeth out...hope he's fully recovered, I have to have mine done in the next year...eeek! I don't even like the dentist:(
Seeing the picture of Courtney taking the shot reminded me of watching you play! Seems like yesterday.
I'm impressed that Jeremy still comes with you. Not a lot of kids that age want to hang out with mom and dad while watching little sister play.
Looks like a good time was had by all (well for the most part..ha ha)! I bet the girls had a great time playing basketball! Thanks for sharing your pictures!

This looks like such fun!! =) I still remember how much I loved watching my brothers play basketball but I was pretty hopeless at any game involving a ball, unfortunately!! I always wanted to be more athletic like Courtney!!
That's my idea of FUN!!! And she has such good shooting form--is she a high % shooter??
I can't wait until my daughter plays the game; she's showing great promise in the 5th grade. Only 2 more years to go...
