Rain Rain Go Away....Come Again Another Day!

And when I say come again another day.....I mean several weeks from now. I have to be careful what I wish for because they are saying we will be in a drought again this year.....grrrrr!

Chad is itching to get into the field, especially since we have Jeremy's graduation right in the middle of planting season. Please pray that we get our crops in and stay healthy and safe (and sane) while doing it.

The kids have a track meet in SF tomorrow. I sure hope this weather straightens out because I really don't want to sit through a rainy (or snowy), windy, cold track meet and I don't want my kids to have to participate in those conditions either!

Take Care....Hope you all have a good weekend!

I know what you me about praying for rain. I did that once and we got 7 inches of rain in just a few hours. I pray for your Hubby to get into the field. My Hubby just got into the field last week and just got a few acres of corn planted. Have a great weekend.

Love and Hugs,
Joyce

I always ask the rain to vacate until after dark. I figure that's a good compromise. I can get my stuff done and we still get the rain we need. Now if it would just work that way.

Good luck with the rain and everything else. I can't imagine having to rely on the weather so much. It must be frustrating.

I just wish the rain would spread out over the year- instead of all at once and nothing for 6 months.
That is fun to read about the shooting matches. We don't have them here, but I would definatly put my kids in if we did.

You can send the rain north! We are planting wheat into dust-no moisture here!

Hope you have a good weekend.

We sure don't need any more rain here right now with all the flooding up north! It is raining at the moment but isn't supposed to amount to much. Hope you have good weather for the track meet! Let us know how they do! :o)
