AWOL

Sorry I was AWOL this week!
We took a family vacation and were not going to leave until Wednesday but ended up leaving on Tuesday before I got to post about it.
We went with Chad's whole family (mom, dad, brothers and wives and all the nieces and nephews) to a Twins game. They beat the Yankees....YEAH! It was our first pro baseball game and Courtney's first trip to the Cities. Jeremy was the only one of us that had been to the Mall of America (he went on a NHS trip there last year).
We had a great time but as always, I am glad to be home. Hopefully I can get some pictures downloaded and posted on of these days.

Summer vacations for farming families are a true treat, aren't they? Our son is in Denver this week and they are going to a Rockies and a Broncos game - they are SO excited. I'm waiting to see your pictures :))

Good for you that you got to take a vacation. I love the cities and I love the Mall of America. How is harvest going?

What did Courtney think about the Twin Cities? My first memory of being downtown Minneapolis was for the Holidazle parade. I think I was five or six. A six foot tyranny wearing fishnet stockings was arguing with the guy standing next to my family....ahhh....I love the holidays.

That Twins/NY series was awesome!!! I love it when we beat the Yanks - damm Yankees

Hi again~

That is great that your wheat ran so good! Isn't it a good feeling when things actually go good! lol Our barley was really good and just starting on wheat and we are finding that it is pretty good too! Surprising after the lack of moisture at the beginning stages of growing. As far as your question about the header for sunflowers--we use a John Deere All-Crop head. Well, I am off to the field. Have a great day!
