Ok people it is raining.....AGAIN! We are so far behind in the field that we really need this rain (and snow) to quit for awhile so we can get our corn out! We haven't even started corn yet, not ONE kernel picked yet....YIKES. Praying for a rainbow and some much needed sun!!!

I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have your job dependent upon the weather.
By the way, with regard to your comment on my blog. I am definitely not making fun of farmers or those who like the country life. The people that I talked about were those without jobs, without teeth and without manners. That has very little to do with you. My definition of hick must be different than yours. My father lived on a farm his whole life. My grandparents and great grandparents farmd for a living. Please know that I have the utmost respect for your and your career.
How's the weather now?? Did you get started on your corn yet?? I hope that you were able to get going....I know it is very frustrating!!! We just started yesterday on our sunflowers. Today it is windier than heck and cold....only a high of 40 today!! Hope all is going well!!!
We are getting really heavy rain and wind today. 45 mph winds and we don't usually get that kind of wind. Hope things dry up so that you can get that corn out!
I hope the weather clears for you. It is finally nice here for a couple of days, very cold, but clear.
