Yet another blizzard blew through the state yesterday. We have frigid cold temperatures which make things a little challenging around here...doing chores in this cold is absolutely miserable. I don't think we lost any animals though which is a good thing.

UPDATE: ZERO dead animals and the chores are done for the day and the shoveling is also done (both kids are home today so that really helped). Chad does have to push some snow in the yard yet with the tractor but it does have heat so hopefully the heater keeps up while he is pushing the snow.

You have a lovely blog! I linked from your comment on FarmChick's blog.

I'm on a dairy farm in Iowa, and have a high school son playing basketball.....AND, we have very frigid temps here today, too! So, you and I have a few things in common.

Christmas blessings to you and your family!

Thinking of you outside having to work with your farm.

We brought home a new puppy this weekend - he's not digging the outside potty thing.

My dad used to say “Somewhere there is a crime boss with a map of places to set up operation. We were just crossed off” This weather just keeps out the riff raff ;)

We are having frigid weather here today and tomorrow as well.
We did not get to much snow here however, yet. We could get that tonight as another cold front comes through.
Stay warm while doing your chores, glad no animals were lost.
God Bless
