Surgery

Chad had his appointment with the orthopedic specialist yesterday and he does have a torn rotator cuff tendon. They scheduled surgery for Monday....bummer! Life as we know it here will definitely be a changin'! He will be in a sling for 6 weeks with NO lifting and then light lifting after that. He will also be going for physical therapy for quite a while.

Oh man - good luck with surgery. Do you have some help on the farm? I'm willing to send my Alex over there for a few months to learn about life on the farm. ;)

I will be praying on Monday. My procedure was changed to Monday also. Take care and I know you will have plenty of help for how long it takes for a complete healing for Chad

Sounds like he needs the new 4 pack of Leathal Weapon (1-4) that Wally World has on sale for $13! That is total, "man on the mend" material!

Sending prayers and thoughts your way.

That's too bad...so you'll be a one-woman farm operation for awhile?

How horrible. Tell Chad I'm thinking of him. (And you too.)

Oh, man - that's a hard one for a farm guy to deal with, I bet. Hopefully he can be patient with the healing process. That's always so hard for active guys.

Will you be able to cope with all the chores now, especially with Jeremy back at school? I wish we lived closer - DH could at least feed cattle for you and I could do some cooking.

Take care - I'll be praying for Chad to heal and for you as you live through this on a busy farm.
