Chad and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary on Saturday! We were in Minneapolis with Chad's brothers, their wives and kids, his mom and dad and our kids for a family day and Twins game......what a great way to celebrate. This is the second year we have gone with his family to a Twins game and "mini vacation" together, it just happened to be on our anniversary this year. It is lots of fun and we hope to continue the tradition.Tuesday, August 18, 2009
Anniversary
Chad and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary on Saturday! Happy Anniversary!! Great that you guys could get away and do something fun, especially in the summertime on the farm. Do you ever wonder how you had time to get married?!! We do all the time!
Yeah for getting the wheat all harvested. Combining hasn't started here yet - maybe near the end of August but crops are way down because it was so, so dry for the first 2/3 of the season. We are chopping barley silage. The corn will be at least another month before it's taken. I love reading your farming posts - I hope someday we can visit SD and see it for real! The photos of Courtney in the wheat are beautiful. Take care!!
Wonderful tradition. You have such wonderful, strong family ties. That is truly a blessing that now everyone has.
