It was a busy week with homecoming activities and volleyball.
The girls played a "dig pink" volleyball game on Thursday. Both teams wore pink and the girls raised money for breast cancer awareness and research. They also gave out flowers to women in the stands that have had or are going through breast cancer, what a tear-jerker. The team also gave flowers to one of their teammates who just had ovarian cancer but is now cancer free! I really teared up during this! Our team will go to Madison next Monday when Madison hosts a "dig pink" game.
I got lots done over the weekend too. We spent all day Saturday outside getting caught up on some farm stuff that has been put off and needing to get done. Yesterday I spent most of the day in the house getting odds and ends done around here! I still could use a few more days like yesterday to get it all caught up but oh well, life goes on!

What a great way to raise awareness.
I am still trying to get caught up around the house. My laundry room looks like my laundry shoot exploded! With the cooler weather setting in....I figure I have plenty of time to get inside stuff done. Right now we are just enjoying the fall weather.
What a wonderful way for a group of young ladies to share with those with health problems. I would have been sobbing during the whole presentation.
Love and hugs,
Joyce
