This week brought some bitter-sweet weather our way.
We need moisture desperately and mother nature decided to bring us a spring snow storm.....
right in the middle of calving season!
We are thankful for the moisture but it sure has made for some tiring days/nights for farmer and his frazzled farm wife!
LONG nights....
checking on cows several times throughout the night
Moving the cows and their calves that are born in the middle of
the night to the warm and dry barn.....
Checking cows at the crack of dawn and throughout the day...
And rejoicing when the calves are up and on their feet and doing well!

What a rewarding life you have! I think it is amazing that animals are born and are up on their feet so fast. Looking at your snow helped to cool me off some--we have been really warm here in the South East. Thanks for your visit to my blog.
