Baby Pigs

We got one barn of baby pigs in last night.  About 1000 babies!
It was a HOT day/evening,  90+ and HUMID but the pigs handled the 12 hour ride great!
Me holding one of the new pigs.
He is a few weeks old and about 14 lbs.

Jeremy's girlfriend Stephanie helped us last night.
Here she is holding one of the smaller pigs.  He weighs about 8 lbs.

Stephanie and I were "stylin'" last night in our shorts and rubber boots!
Ok, maybe not so cute but lots cooler!

We get the other 2 barns of pigs in on Thursday night.
Looks like the forecast is calling for more HEAT.  Oh well, the crops could use some heat.

That's more pigs than I can imagine. Lol. You guys sure do work hard but I'm sure it is very rewarding. :-)

That's a LOT of pigs! My dad had pigs when we were kids...but we're talking less than a dozen and I remember them chewing on my rubber boots when I was spraying out the pens. Lol....long time ago!!
