Courtney was named Taco John's Athlete of the week at Taco John's in Watertown (about 30 miles away). They pick a local athlete of the week and a surrounding area athlete of the week. Courtney was picked for the surrounding area.
She was nominated for making the LCC all-conference team for basketball.
She was pretty excited....and so are mom and dad!

Congrats to Courtney! It's cool to see a loved one's name up on a sign, isn't it?! It's good to hear that spring has arrived at your place. It's been warm here this week but there are still snowdrifts lingering on the north side of fences and buildings. I'm desperate to see some green growing things!

ot - wow I didn't know they still had Taco Johns. My brother worked at the first one they put in Pueblo, CO, gosh, when I was in Jr. Hi. many years ago.
