Hooray!

Jeremy

Courtney

Courtney placed in Shot Put for the first time in a high school track meet. She has placed in many relays before but never in an individual event. She got 5th place yesterday. She has worked very hard at shot put and really enjoys it. Now, her discus throwing is not so great but she doesn't like that as well either. I think that makes a huge difference. Jeremy is doing well also but has yet to place. There is really stiff competition in the boys shot put and discus. He keeps improving every track meet, beating his personal best every time so that's quite good too. The most important thing is that they are both having a lot of fun!

Yay, Courtney! Your kids certainly do a lot of activities. It is great that they try all these things and get so many different experiences.

Way to go!!

I have so many good HS sport's memories and surprisingly, the friendships are what I remember more than the races I won or lost.

I couldn't agree with you more. I tried my hand at tennis when I was in high school. I was terrible at it, but had loads of fun.

I get so caught up in the running events I have yet to actually watch the shot and discuss events - I'll have to try to catch those at the next meet. CONGRATS COURTNEY!!

Great job Courtney. You are looking better all the time. Keep up the hard work Jeremy. All the hard work will pay off one of these times. If not in track, it will in something else.
