My nephew Nolan (the one I picked up at school on Thursday because he was sick), was admitted to the hospital on Saturday. He is still there today and may get home tomorrow. He ended up having pneumonia....was dehydrated, white blood count high, very high fever. He has always vomited with a high fever so not sure if he was vomiting from the fever or he had stomach flu too. He is looking better but still has some recovering to do!

Poor kid. I'll keep him in my prayers.

Oh my! Hoping for a quick recovery.
Oh the poor kid! Glad to hear that he is improving, he can't be sick for Christmas!! Tell him that Midlife Mom is thinking of him way up here in Maine!!
Oh my goodness. I hope he's doing better. {{hugs}}
What a great Aunt to have to be able to come to the rescue!!
My daughter got the flu last winter and became so weak, in less than 12 hours time, that she ended up in the hospital too. She lost 12 lbs in 24 hours. She looked soooo bad! That's a lot of weight to drop off a 100 lb. kid.
I'm glad that your nephew is recovering and I know he's thrilled that he'll be back home in time for Christmas.
oH my, I pray he recovers quickly!

I hope he's going home today. And has his strength and appetite back in time for Christmas Day activities :)
I hope his health improves by the minute! He is in our thoughts and prayers.
Your nephew is in my prayers and I am glad he is getting better. I love how God has trained Doctors and nurces to be there at just the right momement. I am also praying for his parents that they stay as calm as they can.
