Nephew Update

My nephew Nolan (the one I picked up at school on Thursday because he was sick), was admitted to the hospital on Saturday. He is still there today and may get home tomorrow. He ended up having pneumonia....was dehydrated, white blood count high, very high fever. He has always vomited with a high fever so not sure if he was vomiting from the fever or he had stomach flu too. He is looking better but still has some recovering to do!

My daughter got the flu last winter and became so weak, in less than 12 hours time, that she ended up in the hospital too. She lost 12 lbs in 24 hours. She looked soooo bad! That's a lot of weight to drop off a 100 lb. kid.

I'm glad that your nephew is recovering and I know he's thrilled that he'll be back home in time for Christmas.
