Glasses

Guess who is the newest member of our family to get glasses......................COURTNEY!
She had an eye exam last night and found out that she needs glasses. I asked about contacts for her but he wants her to try the glasses first and see how she does with them. Knowing Courtney, they will be broke or lost in no time at all! Her glasses should be here at the end of the week. If I remember, I will post a picture of her in them....she picked out some kinda funky (is that an 80's term?!) ones.

Uh - oh... glasses! Well, at least you don't all have them like in my family. Maybe Destiny will have good eyes, unlike the rest of my kids... there is still hope.

OK - one more comment... you have to put the blogs you read on the sidebar of you blog... I can never find Michelle's blog --- my own fault, I know, but... later - volleyball on Wed? I am playing with the ladies...

Nothing wrong with glasses and she can always switch to contacts. Post a picture!

I got glasses when I was 24 years old. I was only suppose to have to wear them to read and drive. I have to wear them all the time or I get a headache. I have tried contracts THREE times and can't physically put them in my eyes. UGH!!

I hope Courtney has better luck!!!

Good luck to her and her glasses. I've worn them since age 8. But don't wear them around the house, except to read.

Lucky her :)! I have worn both and like my contacts but prefer how I look in glasses. Sounds like she found a "fun" pair of glasses...can't wait to see them! Good luck to her with her new glasses :)!!

I started wearing glasses when I was in middle school, not the best time to start! Good luck, she will be beautiful! When I started wearing glasses, they wouldn't let you go straight to contacts. I wear contacts now and love them. I don't like the way I look in glasses. I would love to have the surgery done and not have to worry with either though!

I've worn glasses since I was 12 yars old. Tried contacts numerous time but couldn't get used to them. Most people just pop them in and are good to go. Yes, we all want a picture when she gets her new glasses!

I bet she'll look adorable in them! I still use the word "funky" too!
When I first was told I needed glassed, the Doc said: "Before I tell you the news, let me scoot my stool away from you. You need tri-focals!" He was afraid I would kick him or something I guess! He couldn't believe I went so long without an exam! I mean , I went from no glasses to tri-focals! I go the progressive lenses and love them!
