Update on Play Practice

Courtney went on a trip yesterday with the cast for this years play to one of the colleges and decided that being in the play is really not her thing. She talked to the director yesterday about it and has decided not to keep her speaking part. She only had a few lines and they have not practiced her scene yet so it will not be difficult to find a replacement. I was a little bummed but she has so much going on right now that it was probably a wise decision.

Sorry to hear about her decision but if she has a full plate it might be a good thing.
Best wishes to her in whatever she decides to do.
Hope we don't get any more snow.It seems like we have to have a least one more tho.
God bless

A tough decision I'm sure, but I bet you'll all be glad there is one less thing to do.

I always wanted to be in some of the plays at school, but I never felt, as an athlete, that I fit well into that group - so I just stayed away. I'm glad that now I get to act in our VBS skits every now and then!!! Much more fun!!

Good for her knowing her own mind and not feeling "pressured" to continue in something that wasn't really her.

I know just how you feel. Jene` has been doing the school plays the past couple of years they normally do 2 a year. This year she went to auditions and made it and then all of a sudden decided not to do it. I was so disappointed because we love going and watching her in them. Even when she is only in the chorus section or if she has a speaking part. This year it was Peter Pan and she seemed thrilled at the beginning of it. She has been in Little Shop Of Horrors (chorus), Footloose (chorus), The Sound Of Music (chorus and small speaking part), and High School Musical (chorus and she was one of the cheerleaders). They were all awesome! I'm still going to see Peter Pan I know my little munchkin will love it.

We can be bummed together! Take Care :)

I am proud of her for realizing it wasn't for her.

I was in a play once...Pirates of Penzance (sp?) in high school. It was fun!

That is ok. Sometimes it is just too much.

I was in a few plays at school and church.
