Rough Day

Jeremy had his wisdom teeth (all 4 of them) surgically removed by a wonderful oral surgeon in SF today. This was the first time he has gone under general anesthesia so it was a new experience for him. He has been a real trooper about the whole thing and I am hoping he has a quick recovery. This nice face is pretty swollen today and I am told will be for a few days and they are pretty sure he will turn black and blue....one lower tooth was impacted and coming in sideways and the other tooth on the lower had 3 roots instead of 2.

UGH! Wisdom Teeth! I hope he gets through it without too much difficulty. they can be a bear sometimes!

I just read your laat post also. I cried all the way home when we took our first one to college. The next day he was sitting in our living room when I got home from work. Just ran home to get some things he needed! He was 1 hr. away. I felt so silly! But it is hard to watch them grow up1

Oh I am so sorry that he had them all out at once, but it is better to have all the pain in one trip.

I had 2 out then six months later the other 2...

I love the picture though...sharp looking young man!

Good luck to your son with healing quicky after getting his wisdom teeth out. No fun, but I'm sure you are all glad that it is over with.

I had one pulled while I was awake! (In basic training.) I made sure I went to an oral surgeon for the next three. Being asleep was a much better experience.

I hope Jeremy starts feeling better and the swelling goes down. I have all 4 of my wisdom teeth so I don't know that pain first hand but it has to be something awful!

By the way...both your kids are very nice looking. Way to go mom and dad!! :)
