Salsa

I got some tomatoes from Chad's cousin this week (my garden didn't do too well, the weeds got away from me and I sprayed most of it with roundup). It was a a busy week but I did manage to find time to can some salsa with the tomatoes. Homemade salsa in the middle of the winter is the best!

Just "some" tomatoes? It looks like you got a truck load.

I love salsa at any time of the year. What recipe do you use?

This is what my kitchen counter looks like too!! How's silaging going? You do have a lot going on with the farm and Courtney - and now working too. Good luck juggling :))

My folks do this about every other summer. They salsa all day, lasts a good 2 years.

I miss my garden for this very reason! I love homemade salsa and may have to plant a few tomato plants next year and bell peppers just so I can have salsa!!!

WOW!!! Too bad I don't even feel like canning AT ALL this year. I've decided it will have to wait until my kids are older!
